The Student Union is working for all students - members or not!
The Student Union of Skövde have always worked to represent all students against the University of Skövde. We are working for your interests and who are involved in the decisions that the University and other organizations are taking that affect students at the University of Skövde. This ranges from ensuring that you get the education that you have applied to get a good environment around you in and around your studies.
We also work with major issues, how much student aid you will be entitled to, or the student housing to be built. All students, members or not, are always welcome to us. We are here for you when you need us.

All students get discounts - but our members are a bit more
We think obviously that there is a good idea, and a good investment for those who are studying to become a member.Membership is now cheaper, has more benefits than before, and is also a way for you to contribute to something that will benefit all students. So we say welcome to the Student Union in Skövde, and thanks to those who want to support an active student participation!

What can I choose from?
In autumn 2010 we have made it easier than ever for you as a student to become a member.

1st Become a full member and receive many discounts
Only students at the University of Skövde can become full members of the Student Union of Skövde (SiS). Full membership costs SEK 200 per semester or 300 SEK for two semesters (full year) membership, and then you will get, among other things:
- Access to the local discounts Student Union in Skövde is working out
- Ability to select free membership of TRIA for the entire study (not sjuksköterksestudenter and student teachers)
- Ability to book gästleg the student union building Boulogner
- "Are you a member, we can sit down and talk about how we can solve your problems, if you unfortunately choose not to join so we can only show where you can download the information." The major difference between member and non-members is how much time we spend on your case.

2nd Membership Support for those who do not study
From this autumn you can no longer study support the student union activities. Maybe you have ever been active in the student body, has a large personal commitment for student participation, or would you just help a good cause and support an active influence for students at the University of Skövde.
